A message from Italy

A message from Italy in quarantine to American friends: we are all under the same sky and the sky will clear again.

I am sending you a splendid poem, a short poem written by a famous Italian poet: Giuseppe Ungaretti.

The title is “Morning” and the verses are as follows:

M’illumino d’immenso.

The Italian language is very harmonious and sounds like music.

In English they mean: I enlight myself with the immense.

Stay at home. Stay safe.
