A message from Italy in quarantine to American friends: we are all under the same sky and the sky will clear again.
I am sending you a splendid poem, a short poem written by a famous Italian poet: Giuseppe Ungaretti.
The title is “Morning” and the verses are as follows:
M’illumino d’immenso.
The Italian language is very harmonious and sounds like music.
In English they mean: I enlight myself with the immense.
Stay at home. Stay safe.
