“Auld Lang Syne”

“We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet for times gone by.”

As the new year approaches Wolves of Douglas County Wisconsin looks forward to your continued support in 2018. Ever since the December of 2014 decision to return wolves in the Great Lakes back onto the ESL we’ve worked together to keep them protected and on the endangered species list. Together we’ve stopped numerous attempts at delisting by unscrupulous politicians who’s only thoughts are to conduct trophy hunts on wolves, “in a good old boy attempt at management.” You’ve joined us in writing letters to the editor, contacting members in congress and holding the line to keep Wisconsin’s wild wolf protected. As the year 2017 comes to a close we say thank you for all your support. Wolves are a part of Wisconsin’s wild legacy. Wisconsin’s wolf recovery began in the late 1970s. Lets continue to hold the line protecting an iconic species.
