Washburn Local residents head to 4th Annual Fur Bang Coyote Hunt to make it clear that Wildlife Killing Contests are not hunting! A couple weeks ago WODCW talked with with the hosts of the Fur Bang, Sparky’s Bar & Grill, and they told us they never want to host a wildlife Killing Contest ever again. Sparky’s Owner also told us they were able to get the organizers, Northern Outdoors Club, to cancel the crow shoot. Thank you Sparky’s for working to End Wildlife Killing Contests! And there’s more good news. We’ve talked with local residents that organized a meet up at Sparky’s Bar & Grill today. They showed up wearing blaze orange & yellow (see their flier). They told WODCW that they had a productive conversation with the owner and confirmed Sparky’s will never host another contest like this ever again! Locals can make a difference! There will be more news coming out soon! #endwildlifekillingcontests #news www.wolvesofdougkascountywisconsin.com
